Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G Specifications

In China, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 4G were launched. This is distinct from the earlier Redmi Note 9 series launched in India. With specs way above its price band, the latest Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G breaks all previous records. International availability has not yet been confirmed for the three new phones in the Redmi Note 9 series.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is the first 5G-capable smartphone in the entire history of the series with the new Snapdragon 750G chipset. The phone is 6.67 inches (2,400×1,080 pixels) in size and the display is a capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD. It is endowed with ‘Aura Balance’ technology, which is responsible for extra comfort for homogeneous weight distribution all over the device.

With a 108-megapixel main sensor with a 1/1.52-inch sensor and an f/1.75 aperture, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has a quad rear camera setup. It also has an ultra-wide-angle lens of 8 megapixels, a macro lens of 2 megapixels and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels. At 30fps and 1080p videos up to 60fps, it can shoot 4k videos. There’s a 16MP selfie camera in front. A 4,820mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging includes other specifications. IP53 water-resistance, 360-degree ambient light detection, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a free antimicrobial case and screen protector are the rest of the specifications.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China starts at CNY 1,599 (  approximately Rs 18,000) for the base version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, CNY 1,799 for the variant with 8 GB + 128 GB and CNY 1,999 for the top model with 8 GB + 256 GB.
