The Samsung Smart Monitor will be available in the United States, Canada and China from November 16, and Samsung plans to extend its launch markets beginning at the end of November.
In terms of cost, the price of the 27-inch M5 Smart Display begins at $230 (approx Rs 17,100), while the price tag of the 32-inch model is $280 (approx Rs 20,900). Both Samsung M5 and M7 Smart Monitors come with the Samsung branding in a gray-plate at the middle of the monitor-chin in a single black colour finish.
The display operates Microsoft Office 365 applications without a PC connection for home office and learning, with embedded Wi-Fi, enabling users to view, edit and save documents in the cloud straight from the monitor. Remote Access also enables users to access files from a PC wirelessly and remotely, or view content from a laptop, whether placed elsewhere in the house or in the workplace.
The smart display from Samsung allows you to seamlessly mirror your Samsung phone running Android Oreo and higher simply by tapping your phone, a feature called Tap View by the company.
With only a single connection, the USB Type-C port allows up to 65W of data, display and power, keeping the area around the monitor clean and beautiful. Multiple USB ports and Bluetooth 4.2 allow for additional communication flexibility while the display has built-in two channel speaker.
